 William T. Sherman Civil War Roundtable
The Gen. William T. Sherman Memorial Civil War Roundtable meets at the Sherman House Museum at 137 E. Main St., Lancaster Ohio every third Wednesday at 7 P.M., September- November, and January - May. 
 
 
 

2009-2010 Program Schedule

Meetings begin at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday 

of each month - except June, July, August 

and December - at the Sherman House Museum

Nov. 11, 2009 - Speaker: Civil War author and Pamplin Historical Park President A. Wilson Greene on "The Petersburg Campaign."

Jan. 10, 2010 - Speaker: Monty Chase, descendant of Salmon P. Chase, Treasury Secretary under President Abraham Lincoln.

Feb. 13, 2010 - Community celebration of Gen. William T. Sherman's 190th birthday, featuring a concert of Civil War-era music and speakers Chris Evans and Frank Bullock; Elks Lodge, 129 E. Main St.

Mar. 17, 2010 - Mnemonics I: How We Remember, USA, Arlington National Cemetery, video presentation by Dr. A. McGreevy.

Apr. 21, 2010 - Mnemonics II: How They Remember, Japan, Yasukuni Jinja Temple, video presentation by Dr. A. McGreevy.

May 19, 2010 - Re-enactment of Civil War life around the campfire, Green Mound Farm.
