Thanks to the
leadership of Chris
Claypool and Mike
LeMay, Chairmen, the
"Attic to Auction
Block" event held
March 2nd raised
$11,000 for the
Fairfield Heritage
Association. The
money raised will be
used to purchase new
museum signs that
will increase the
visibility of our
museums, promote
events and attract
more visitors.
The event was a
success thanks to:
Generous FHA members and members of the community who
searched through
their attics, barns
and basements then
donated items they no longer
needed, and
David Flood, Jonathan LeMay and Dixie Mollenkoph,
auctioneers, who
generously donated
their time and their
staff for
the event,
The Fairfield County Agricultural Society which donated
use of the AAA
Building at the
fairgrounds.
Frank E. Smith Funeral Home for donating advertising,
Tom and Deb's Catering for serving food, and
All those who attended the auction and so generously
bid and bought
items.
The FHA sincerely
thanks all who
donated items, time
or talents to this
successful event!
