By almost every measure except warm weather this year's Sherman House Museum Garden Party was a huge success. The party was held Sept. 26, on the back lawn of the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio. Over 115 guests and cast members enjoyed a buffet dinner followed by a play.
      The third in a series of annual spoofs on "Gone With the Wind," a play titled: "Oh, That Doggone Wind was written by Ryan and Vanessa Troup, Lynn Patchen and Laura Bullock. Actors for the Sherman House Players included Alan Christy, Jessica Bouffioux, Lynn Patchen, Scott Craft, Stephanie Dunkel, Jim Averill, Ryan Troup, Donna Lawrence, Chinty Grunewald, Vanessa Troup and Diane Eversole. The play was directed by Vickie Maddux. Frank Bullock did stage construction with Jean Beard. Hildegard Debenedictis, and Peg Smith provided the costuming.
      Ryan Troup auctioned off a five-course dinner for eight to be held in the Sherman House Museum later this fall. Highest bidders were Chris and Tom Moe.
