8th Annual Sherman House Museum Garden Party

Drinks and hors d'oeurves at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:15 and the entertaining Sherman House Players at 7:15 presenting their version of Gone With the Wind.  Cost for this delightful evening is $20.00 and reservations must be received in the FHA office no later than Wednesday, September 3, 2008.

The Sherman House Museum

Built in 1811 this home was the birthplace of Civil War General William Tecumseh Sherman and his brother U.S. Senator John Sherman.  A National Historic Landmark, it features an outstanding Civil War exhibit and Sherman Family Treasures.

 

The Georgian Museum

A mansion of 13 rooms built for Samuel and Sarah Maccracken is furnished today as it might have been in the 1830s with some original pieces and numerous Fairfield County items.

Cemetery Walk - Friday, October 24 at 5:00, 6:30 or 8:00 p.m. 

Christmas Tea - Sunday, December 7 at 4:00 p.m. in the historic Georgian Museum

Christmas Candlelight Tour - Saturday, 13 at 6:00 p.m.
