The Fairfield Heritage Association operates two museums.

Both museums are open:

April through December/Tuesday through Sunday 1 – 4 p.m./ closed on holidays.

January, February and March by appointment.

      The Georgian Museum, the restored 1832 mansion of Samuel Maccracken at 105 E. Wheeling St, Lancaster, Ohio is also where the office of the association is located.

      Sherman House Museum, the birthplace of General William Tecumseh Sherman and his brother, Senator John Sherman is located at 137 E. Main St., Lancaster, Ohio. This museum is a Registered National Historic Landmark and on the Civil War Discovery Trail.
