Five properties were awarded a Coronet Award at the Fairfield Heritage Association's 2010 Annual Fall Meeting. Phyllis Heister, Chairperson of the Coronet Committee, presented awards to: Ron and Cindy Henderson; Tim Jarvis; the Lithopolis Municipal Building; Jeff and Gabriela May; and Brent and Aime Wohrer.
      The Coronet Awards were established in 1967 to recognize property owners throughout Lancaster and Fairfield County for renovation, restoration, preservation, areas of beautification, and new buildings each year. Sites must be easily visible to passers-by. Nominations may be made at anytime throughout the year. Nominations, however, should be completed or near completion, and the work should have been done within three years of the nomination.
